Sample Size Calculation Software Macros

PASS provides sample size calculations for over 370 more scenarios than any other sample size software and is the premier software tool for determining the needed sample size or analyzing the power of a study. PASS is used extensively in clinical trial planning, grant proposals, pharmaceutical research, statistical and biostatistical consulting. Fixed a problem in calculating the effect size from variances in the repeated measures ANOVA. 3 July 2012 - Release 3.1.4 Mac and Windows. Added an options dialog to the repeated-measures ANOVA which allows a more flexible specification of effect sizes. Fixed a problem in calculating the sample size for Fisher's exact test. Sample size for a case-control study This utility calculates the sample size required for a case-control study, with specified levels of confidence and power and case and control groups of equal size.
